Black & white

__________

Dolls:
Huey, Memphis series, 17"
Lady Ozmopolitan, Wizard of Oz series, 16"
Brenda Starr "Garden Party Confidential", 16"
Tyler Wentworth "Ensemble d'Or", 16" (wearing original dress)
Mia, first American Model series, 20"
Esmé "Dinner with Russell", 16"
Peggy Harcourt "Short and Sassy", 16"

Listed above are all my Tonner dolls that I (am going to) make clothes for. These two ladies have already been shown on the blog, Esmé and Peggy:

Still on my wish list are two 12" child dolls (a boy and a girl) and one more adult, Mei Li. I think that when these will be added, my "model agency" will be complete... Notice the 3 dots. Because you never know what else you find, right? ;-D
__________

I'm taking another blog pause, a bit longer this time. I'll be back with new posts in late June, early July.

Take care, and see you soon :-).

  5. Those black & white photos reminded me of the golden age of Hollywood and film noir. Brenda Starr - I remember that movie with Brooke Shields. :) And Mia is so big! And ticking off the wish list might not be easy. There are so many beautiful dolls - who would resist the temptation? :)

    1. Hello Nana, I only knew the Brenda Starr comics and never saw the movie, but Brooke looks like a lovely Brenda Starr on photos :-). Mia sure is big compared to the other Tonner dolls! I know, it's almost impossible to make a definite list, so many dolls are very beautiful and so worth having!

  14. Good evening, Millicent. Great pictures in blac and white. Are you playing with the apps and filters you talked about in former post, perhaps?? They let appreciate better the dolls features and look splendid!!
Another question: Is Linda your real name? I saw somebody calling you like that but in the first time I thought it was a compliment since "linda" means "beautiful" and "dainty" in Spanish.
Have a nice rest and we will see back in July!!

    1. Good evening Rosana! Thank you, I'm glad you like the pictures :-). No, I only adjusted the contrast a bit this time, so that the features of the dolls were enhanced.
Linda is my real name :-). I know what linda means, one of the few Spanish words I've known for a long time. When I was young, the boys used to explain it to me more than once, to make a compliment and get a date hahaha! Now that I'm old I think it's charming that they did this, but back then I thought: oh no, not that line again ;-D!
I hope to be back soon! Big hugs :-)

    1. Hello April, thank you :-). I think it's a loss to the doll collector world that Robert Tonner doesn't design such dolls anymore, the website is almost empty. I love my Esmé, she's so pretty :-).
