Little black dress and some real plastic gold!

Dress: made by me.
Gold accessories: all from Nighttime Glamour Barbie except for the bracelet,
that belongs to Pool Chic Barbie.

No, Barbie isn't smoking lipstick,

this is the only way I could get her to hold it.
__________

Curvy Nighttime Glamour Barbie (2016) models the dress. Barbie's original curly hair-do was such a messy rat's nest that I decided to straighten the hair. I didn't take "before" pictures, but it looked like it was hair from a 20 year old, heavy played with doll, and that was when I took her out of the box!

I do have to say that I think the Mattel designers did a splendid job on the body design. It looks realistic and has good proportions. I especially like the arms and hands, and the hips and thighs area.

  5. It's so important that Mattel put this type of little body in the dolls of the collectible line! This doll is fantastic, and the dress you made for her matched very well with the beautiful features of this doll. I love her hair!

    1. Hello Leticia, I agree, I hope Mattel will continue to do so. I'm glad you like her! It took six boils to straighten the hair, but I'm glad I did it. I really liked the curls, but they were too messy for my taste :-). Hugs back x
